ICAI ARF INVITES THE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST ON PROPOSED RESEARCH PROJECT ON GOODS & SERVICE TAX

The Hon’ble Finance Minister, Government of India in his Budget, 2006 speech announced introduction of ‘Goods and     Service Tax’ from the year 2010. ICAI ARF has decided to carry out a research on ‘Goods and Service Tax’ to study the  international perspective and experience as also the way forward for introduction of Goods and Service Tax in India.

Person who are keen to be associated with the research can write to ICAI ARF at ykg@icai.org expressing their interest and also profile outlining their experience in the research work in general and on Goods and Service Tax, in particular. Members identified for the research would be suitably remunerated.

ICAI ARF invites application from members and others for
carrying out research in the fields of Accounting, Auditing, Public Finance and Taxation (Direct taxes & Indirect Taxes).

The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India incorporated ICAI Accounting Research Foundation as a Section 25 company under the Companies Act, 1956, as a core research body with facilities to undertake research in the areas of Accounting, Auditing, Capital Market, Fiscal Policy, Monetary Policy and other related disciplines. The vision of ICAI ARF is to develop quality pronouncements, documents, research papers on the subject of accounting, auditing, fiscal laws and capital market etc.

 The main objectives of ICAI Accounting Research Foundation is to establish itself as an “Academy” of National Standard for the purpose of imparting, spreading, dissemination, promoting knowledge, learning, education and understanding in the fields of Accounting, Auditing and other disciplines like Corporate & Economic Law. ICAI ARF invites application from members and others for carrying out research in the fields of Accounting, Auditing, Public Finance and Taxation (Direct taxes & Indirect Taxes). Those who are working in the universities can undertake these research project along with their current Job assignments. Candidates having good academic record and knowledge may apply.
