Invitation for empanelment of consultants in the project of the ICAI Accounting Research Foundation (ARF) on Implementation of IFRS

ICAI Accounting Research Foundation (ICAI ARF) has decided to undertake projects on Implementation of IFRS. For the purpose, the ICAI ARF invites applications from Chartered Accountants having expert knowledge and experience in implementation of IFRS in the Indian environment.

The initial task of the Consultant at present would be to prepare a proposal on a priority basis for developing a detailed plan for conversion into IFRS in the company including PSUs, including (a) scope of the project, (b) time required to complete the project, (c) the required manpower with essential expertise and skills to complete the project, and (d) the total estimated cost of the project.

The prospective candidates may apply giving above details within seven days to the Director, ICAI ARF by E-mail at arf@icai.org or arf@icai.in for empanelment giving the following details: detailed Bio-Data outlining experience, particularly in the relevant field, expected fees/ honorarium and the time required for this assignment. The Consultant, if found suitable, can subsequently be considered as the Team Leader/ member of the Team to implement IFRS in the company.

ICAI Accounting Research Foundation invites application from candidates for its project on Sustainability Reporting and Government Accounting Reforms

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), set up by an Act of Parliament – The Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 - has established ICAI Accounting Research Foundation (ICAI-ARF) in January, 1999, as a Section 25 company – a core research body in the areas of accounting, auditing, capital markets, fiscal policies, monetary policies and other related disciplines. Over the years, it has accelerated its work programme as an academy for imparting, spreading and promoting knowledge, learning, education and understanding in the various fields related to the profession of accountancy.

ICAI Accounting Research Foundation invites application from candidates preferably Chartered Accountants interested to be associated with ICAI research projects on Government Accounting reforms and Sustainability Reporting to provide technical as well as administrative support. Compensation is negotiable based on qualification, exposure in relevant field and experience. Those who do not have minimum three years experience in the relevant projects need not take the trouble to apply.
